Terms and Conditions

1. General Information

By enrolling in our Mandarin classes, you agree to adhere to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. Class Schedule

  • For private 1v1 students, schedules are negotiated between the teacher and the student. the 1v1 six package expires 12 weeks from the first class commencement date. If students fail to complete the package before the package expiration date, no refund will be issued.

  • For private 1v1 students, rescheduling notice at least 2 days before the upcoming class starts time will be free of charge.

  • For private 1v1 students, rescheduling notice within 2 days of notice will be charged a 25AUD fee.

  • For Group class students, the class schedules are pre-determined. By enrolling in the group class, you agree to adhere to a pre-determined schedule. Failing to attend some classes will be the student’s responsibility to catch up on the class content and are not entitled to a refund or reschedule. Once the course starts, changes of schedule will only happen when all parties agree.

3. Fees and Payment

  • All fees must be paid in full prior to the start of classes.

  • Payment methods include credit card, bank transfer, or cash.

  • Refunds will only be provided under specific circumstances, as outlined below.

4. Refund Policy

  • A full refund will be issued if notice of cancellation is received at least 7 days before the class start date.

  • A 50% refund will be issued if notice of cancellation is received within 7 days before the class start date (before the first class of a package).

  • No refund will be issued after the course is commenced.

5. Class Materials

Students may be required to purchase specific materials or resources to participate in the classes. Information regarding these materials will be provided upon enrolment.

6. Code of Conduct

Students are expected to maintain a respectful and supportive environment for all participants. All participants must respect each other, including their cultures, gender, and sexuality. Disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in expulsion from the class without a refund.

7. Privacy Policy

  • We are committed to protecting your personal information. Any data collected during your enrolment will be used solely for administrative purposes related to your classes.

  • By enrolling in the Mandarin classes, students acknowledge and agree that the sessions may be subject to screen recording for internal purposes, such as sharing with students who could not make it to that group class time. These recordings are intended solely for quality assurance, training, and administrative functions within the organisation. Students' personal information will be kept confidential, and the recordings will not be shared externally without prior consent.

  • By participating in the classes or events provided by Yundi Wang, you acknowledge and agree that your image, voice, or likeness may be captured in photographs, videos, or other forms of media. We may use such media for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media, websites, and printed materials. If you do not wish to be included in such media, please inform us in advance, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request. Your participation constitutes your consent to the use of this media as outlined above.

8. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or in-class announcements.

9. Acceptance

By enrolling in our Mandarin classes, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
